Abdi İbrahim Earns First Equal Pay Certification in Turkish Pharma Industry

Abdi İbrahim has been awarded the Equal Pay certification by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation, recognizing its equal remuneration practices for men and women performing equal work. The company becomes the first in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector to earn this accreditation.

Abdi İbrahim, which has led the Turkish pharmaceutical sector for 24 consecutive years, has certified its equal pay policies through an independent international body. The company received the Equal Pay certification from the Switzerland-based EQUAL-SALARY Foundation, making it the first pharmaceutical enterprise in Turkey to hold the accreditation.

During the audit process, the company's compensation and benefits data were evaluated by an independent auditing firm to confirm compliance with global criteria. The accreditation directly supports Abdi İbrahim's HEAL2050 sustainability framework, addressing Sustainable Development Goals including Gender Equality (SDG 5), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10).
