Azerbaijan’s Largest Pharmaceutical Plant Commences Operations with Turkish Investment

Gen Pharma Caucasus Manufacturing Operations, a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility anchored by a 66% majority stake from Turkey’s GEN Pharmaceuticals (GEN İlaç), was officially inaugurated at the Pirallahi Industrial Park near Baku in the presence of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Representing a total capital investment of 113.9 million manats, the facility features an annual output capacity of 60 million packs and 2.5 billion tablets and capsules.

Çimko Prepares to Build New Integrated Cement Plant in Aleppo

Çimko, a building materials subsidiary of SANKO Holding, is launching an integrated cement plant investment of up to $200 million in Aleppo, Syria. Marking the first Turkish integrated cement manufacturing investment in Syria's modern era, the Build-Operate-Transfer project will deliver an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons of clinker and 2 million tons of cement to support regional reconstruction.
