Hosted by Istanbul Commerce University, the “Ecological Textiles and Slow Fashion Workshop” focused on the environmental impacts of the textile and ready-to-wear industry and the steps needed to strengthen sustainability. In the final declaration, participants emphasized the need to reduce overproduction and overconsumption, and to reinforce the transition toward a circular economy through stronger recycling infrastructure.
