NG Kütahya Seramik officially inaugurated its advanced manufacturing facility, the 30 August Factory, located in the 30 August Organized Industrial Zone in Kütahya.
The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Governor of Kütahya Musa Işın, Kütahya MPs Mehmet Demir and Adil Biçer, Air Training Brigade and Garrison Commander Brigadier General Mustafa Baş, Kütahya Mayor Eyüp Kahveci, NG Group Founding Chairman Nafi Güral, Nafi Güral Education Foundation President Gülsüm Güral, NG Kütahya Seramik Chairman Erkan Güral, Kütahya Porselen Chairperson Sema Güral, NG Hotels Chairperson Hediye Güral, Kütahya Porselen Vice Chairperson Gülden Güral, NG Kütahya Seramik Vice Chairman Yüksel Kaya, and prominent business leaders.
High-Tech Ceramic Production Base Completed in 14 Months
Breaking ground in April 2025 and finalized within 14 months to be production-ready by June 2026, the facility’s key industrial and technical parameters include:
Investment Scale: Realized with a €150 million (TL 8 billion) investment, spanning 235,000 square meters of open area and 110,000 square meters of indoor space.
Production Capacity: Delivers an annual manufacturing volume of approximately 16 million square meters of ceramics.
Industry 4.0 & AI Integration: Employs end-to-end digitalization, full automation, real-time data monitoring, and AI-supported systems.
Solar Energy Roadmap: A planned 15 MW solar (SPP) investment will lift the company’s total operational solar capacity to 47 MW.
Zero-Waste Sintering: Featuring advanced heat recovery systems, ceramic production waste is reprocessed through integrated crushing and grinding units. This framework earned the plant an award in the 2025 Efficiency Project Awards by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

The 30 August Factory, realized by NG Kütahya Seramik with an 8 billion TL investment across 235,000 square meters, represents a tangible milestone in this transformation. This advanced manufacturing hub will elevate both Kütahya’s and Turkey's global competitiveness in ceramics. Furthermore, reaching a total solar capacity of 47 MW with the planned 15 MW solar installation provides a vital contribution to our industry's green transition.
