The premier composites event in Eurasia, TURKCOMPOSITE 2026, closed its doors after welcoming industry leaders and global buying delegations. Speaking during an exclusive interview at the ChemEx World studio, TCMA Vice President Mehmet Hakan Kuş emphasized that, throughout his 40-plus years in the composites sector, this edition stood out as the most productive and truly professional exhibition ever staged in Turkey.
Underlining Turkey’s domestic raw material capacity—ranging from glass and carbon fibers to unsaturated polyester and epoxy resins—Kuş noted that local composite fabricators enjoy unique strategic advantages. He also highlighted the recent partnership signed with JEC World to host "JEC Talks" in İzmir this coming May as a major catalyst for international integration. Pointing to defense manufacturing, wind turbine blade production, and GRP infrastructure piping as key growth drivers, Kuş concluded that expanding domestic refining capacities for petrochemical derivatives will accelerate Turkey’s ascent in global markets.
