Recognizing impactful projects in the financial sector, the Sardis Awards enters its eighth year with a restructured category framework centered on the theme "Smart Finance Era: Autonomous and Intelligent Systems." The awards scope has been redesigned to highlight transformation areas such as artificial intelligence, data-driven technologies, open finance, sustainability, financial inclusion, and customer experience.
Sardis Awards Jury President, Management and Strategy Consultant Dr. Soner Canko, stated that the transformation responds directly to the changing dynamics of the finance industry. As part of the updates, new categories including ESG Innovation, Financial Accessibility, and Financial Resilience have been added to the Innovation section. Additionally, the Entrepreneurship section has been restructured under "Finance of the Future" and "Ecosystem Leadership" to honor both innovative startups and supporting institutions.
Application Schedule and Jury President Statement
Outlining guidelines for applicants, Dr. Soner Canko, Jury President of the Sardis Awards, stated:
We have entered an era where not just the finance sector, but all sectors need to think through a financial perspective. Institutions now shape not only their balance sheets, but also their collections, payments, innovations, and future plans through a financial lens. Social benefit, inclusive solutions, and economic resilience are integral parts of financial innovation today. Our new categories aim to make the value generated by the sector in these areas visible. With our renewed category structure, Sardis Awards enters a new era. We advise institutions to include all data and key performance indicators supporting their projects in the application process. I would like to remind everyone that applications close on September 11th.
