In its 2025 Integrated Report, Kimpur reported a 16% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emission intensity, lifted female Board representation to 40%, and achieved an EcoVadis Gold Medal while advancing circular manufacturing in its Düzce plant.

Kimpur disclosed its integrated operational performance for 2025, framed around the core theme of "Sustainable Progress." The report reflects the company's approach of balancing industrial growth with environmental stewardship, societal development, and operational excellence.

Adapting to global market dynamics and rising regulatory demands across the chemical industry, Kimpur realigned its strategic priorities under six pillars: Climate Crisis & Carbon Management, Sustainable Growth, Sustainable Product Management, Information Security & Cyber Risks, Employee Rights, and Risk Analysis & Regulatory Compliance.

Carbon Management and Eco-Conscious Product Portfolio

Key environmental indicators and product lifecycle advancements include:

  • 16% Drop in Emission Intensity: Compared to the 2022 baseline, Kimpur reduced its Scope 1 and 2 emission intensity by 16%, maintaining its carbon footprint at 0.061 $\text{tCO}_2\text{e}$ per ton of production in line with 2030 reduction roadmaps. The data was independently verified under TSRS (Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards).

  • Product Carbon Footprint (PCF): Carbon footprint calculations were completed for 97% of the active commercial product portfolio through comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).

  • Sustainable Sales Share: Bio-based, recycled-content, material-optimized, and low-carbon solutions reached a 21% share in total sales.

  • Circular Manufacturing: Commissioned recycled PET polyester production at the Düzce manufacturing facility while accelerating R&D across low-GWP technologies.

Operating its Ministry of Industry and Technology-accredited R&D center since 2017, Kimpur recorded measurable milestones in innovation:

  • 80% of the 147 R&D projects executed throughout 2025 were converted into customized industrial market applications.

  • Participating in Eurostars, TÜBİTAK 1832, and Interreg NEXT MED consortiums, the company fulfilled its 2030 European Union project roadmap ahead of schedule.
