Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi participated in the London Coffee Festival held between May 14–17, showcasing the centuries-old tradition of Turkish coffee to a global audience. Through immersive tasting experiences and cultural storytelling, the brand attracted strong interest from both industry professionals and coffee enthusiasts throughout the four-day event.

Representing Turkish coffee culture in 60 countries worldwide, Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi once again took part in the London Coffee Festival, one of the world’s leading coffee industry gatherings. Under the slogan “The Original Joy of Coffee,” the brand highlighted the unique position of Turkish coffee within global coffee culture through an experiential stand concept combining tradition and modern coffee engagement.

Throughout the festival, hundreds of cups of Turkish coffee were served to visitors, offering not only a tasting experience but also a deeper introduction to the preparation methods, serving rituals, and cultural heritage behind Turkish coffee. The stand drew significant attention from international industry stakeholders as well as coffee lovers during the event.

Turkish Coffee Experience Takes Center Stage in London

As part of the festival program, visitors were introduced to the authentic preparation and presentation rituals of Turkish coffee through live demonstrations and tasting sessions. Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi emphasized the cultural depth of Turkish coffee while reinforcing its distinct place in the evolving global specialty coffee scene.

This year’s participation also featured renowned coffee professional Brodie Vissers, widely known as “The Nomad Barista,” who has been collaborating with the brand. Hosting special tasting sessions at the Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi stand, Vissers guided visitors through the traditional Turkish coffee experience while sharing insights into its heritage and sensory profile.
