Kordsa, a Sabancı Holding subsidiary, presented its global expertise in composite materials and advanced material technologies at JEC World 2026, held in Paris between March 10–12, 2026. Recognized as one of the world’s largest events for composite materials, the exhibition brought together the entire value chain of the composites industry.
At the event, Kordsa highlighted its capabilities and strategic focus in composite technologies, presenting solutions developed in collaboration with its subsidiaries including Fabric Development Inc., Textile Products Inc., Axiom Materials Inc. (USA) and Microtex Composites Srl. (Italy).
Composite Solutions Address Critical Industry Needs
Among the key technologies showcased by Kordsa were ceramic matrix composite (CMC) technologies, thermoplastic-based interior component solutions for automotive applications, structural body components, and carbon fiber-reinforced prepreg products.
These advanced materials deliver high performance with reduced weight, while also improving manufacturing efficiency and helping reduce carbon footprints. Composite solutions developed for the aerospace and energy sectors also address critical requirements such as high temperature resistance, durability and reliability.

Kordsa CEO Ergun Hepvar stated that JEC World remains one of the most important global meeting points for the composite materials industry.
According to Hepvar, the event provides a valuable platform to observe both current technological developments and future industry trends. He emphasized that sustainability, lightweight solutions, high performance and manufacturing efficiency are becoming increasingly decisive factors in the sector, while customer expectations are evolving toward more integrated, agile and sustainable solutions.

Hepvar noted that Kordsa differentiates itself through an end-to-end integrated approach, covering research and development, production, supply chain management and certification processes.
He added that the growing global demand for advanced material solutions further strengthens Kordsa’s position in the composites market. The company sees composite technologies as one of its two strategic focus areas, aiming to expand technology depth, product diversity and application fields while delivering high-value solutions in global markets.
