REDİN ’26 Summit, one of Türkiye’s notable gatherings focused on technology, design and innovation, brought sector stakeholders together in Bursa. Organized by the Scientific Research and Applications Association (BAUDER), the 1st International R&D, Design and Innovation Conference was held on 15–16 May.
Held under the theme “The Meeting Point of Those Who Design the Future,” the summit highlighted projects that add value to the innovation ecosystem. NetWork stood out with its pioneering project.
First Place in Two Categories
As part of the 2025 R&D, Innovation and Design Awards, NetWork won first place in both the Interdisciplinary R&D Award and Most Innovative Design Award categories.
The brand received strong recognition from academic and industrial circles with its “Shape Memory Alloy (Nitinol)-Integrated, Self-Shaping Garment Design” project.
Nitinol Technology Integrated into Garment Design
The award-winning project is based on integrating Nitinol, a special shape memory alloy, into garment fibers.
Thanks to this technology, garments can return to their original form by interacting with external factors, helping correct deformations or wrinkles that occur during use.
The innovation contributes not only to aesthetic performance but also to sustainable fashion by extending product life.
