McDonald’s Türkiye Launches Super Mario Collaboration: From Menus to Collectibles

In partnership with Nintendo and Illumination, the campaign brings together Happy Meal® toys and limited-edition collectible tokens, uniting different generations at the same table.

McDonald’s Türkiye has expanded its pop culture collaborations with a new campaign inspired by the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, produced by Nintendo and Illumination. The campaign targets a broad audience with both Happy Meal® options for children and specially curated menus for adults.

Menu Experience Enhanced with Collectibles

Launched on April 1, the campaign introduced 12 different Super Mario character toys into Happy Meal® menus.

Adult menu options, available from April 11, include:

  • Double Cheeseburger Menu
  • McChicken® Menu

Each menu comes with medium fries, a beverage, and two special sauces (jalapeño mayonnaise and truffle-flavored mayonnaise). Customers can also upgrade their beverage to a campaign-specific milkshake for an additional TRY 35.

Limited-Edition Collectibles Drive Engagement

One of the campaign’s key highlights is the inclusion of 4 limited-edition collectible tokens with adult menus. Each token features iconic symbols from the Super Mario universe:

  • Yoshi’s Egg
  • Luma
  • Fire Flower
  • Rosalina’s Book

This approach extends the product experience beyond consumption, creating added value through collectibility.
