Premium automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz celebrated the 140th anniversary of its historical heritage with a specialized launch event organized along the scenic railway line between Erzurum and Erzincan. During this custom-designed Eastern Express voyage, the brand unveiled its all-electric GLC 400 Edition 1 AMG alongside the family-oriented GLB 200+ AMG for the first time in the Turkish market. Attended by prominent figures from the cultural and corporate spheres, the thematic organization combined the brand's electrification strategy and future mobility vision with the historical backdrop of Eastern Anatolia.
Recycled Materials and Certified Vegan Interior Architecture
Integrating sustainability-focused R&D into its core manufacturing processes, Mercedes-Benz defines a new standard in the global luxury segment with the new GLC model. Through an optional package developed by its engineering division, the company has become the first German automobile manufacturer to offer an independently certified vegan interior spec.
Aiming to deliver eco-friendly elegance, the brand increased the utilization rate of recycled materials across cabin components. Developed to protect driver and passenger health during long-distance travel, these specialized seats, engineered with recycled elements, stand out for their premium ergonomics. The structural and mechanical features of these seating units are officially approved by the German "Association for Healthy Backs" (AGR).
