A new chapter in energy: Integrated LPG supply
Saytek is positioning its entry into the energy sector on a solid institutional footing through its LPG distribution license. Chairman of the Board Özer Yıldırım emphasized that this move is not viewed as a short-term opportunity but as a long-term strategic expansion, stating: “We see our entry into the energy sector not as a short-term opportunity, but as a long-term and strategic move.” He noted that LPG and similar energy products sourced carefully from international suppliers are delivered to the Turkish market in a timely and reliable manner through strong partnerships and an extensive supply network. With the new license, Saytek aims to play a more active role in the energy supply chain.
Europe in focus: Export strategy aligned with sustainability expectations
Highlighting exports as a core pillar of the company’s 2026 agenda, Yıldırım underlined the strategic importance of the European market. “One of the most important pillars of our 2026 vision is Europe… Our goal is not only to sell products, but to position Saytek as a reliable supplier and long-term business partner in Europe,” he said. The company believes that increasing regulations and sustainability requirements for recycled materials in Europe are well aligned with Saytek’s production capabilities and quality standards.
Konya Kulu investment: New capacity for rPET sheets and food packaging
A key element of Saytek’s growth plan is the new facility planned in Konya Kulu Organized Industrial Zone. Yıldırım stated that the architectural design and feasibility studies have been completed, and that the investment will enable the company to start producing rPET sheets and food packaging while significantly increasing recycling capacity. Saytek views this project not merely as a volume expansion, but as a step toward higher value-added manufacturing.
Sustainability at the core: Environmental and social value
Saytek approaches growth beyond financial metrics, placing environmental and social value at the center of its business model. “For us, growth is not limited to financial indicators; creating environmental and social value is equally important,” said Yıldırım. Through its recycling activities, the company aims to reduce the use of natural resources, certify its carbon footprint in line with international standards, and further strengthen this approach with planned renewable energy and solar power projects at the Konya Kulu site.
Visibility reinforced by TOBB ranking
Saytek’s growth performance was also recognized by its inclusion in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey’s (TOBB) “Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Türkiye” list. Management remains focused on carrying the company into a “stronger, more institutional, and more sustainable” future through its energy expansion, European ambitions, and new investments in the coming period.
