Prometeon Tyre Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, structured across four focus areas: Environmental, Social, Governance, and Economic. The report was prepared following Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
Renewable Energy and Resource Metrics
The report outlines the following performance metrics for 2025:
Energy Structure: Renewable and high-efficiency sources accounted for 51.5% of total energy consumption. Renewable sources (certified green electricity and biomass) represented 31.3%, while high-efficiency systems (cogeneration plants) accounted for 20.2%. Considering electricity alone, renewable energy reached 47.5%.
Energy Intensity: Specific energy consumption per ton of finished product decreased by 14.7% compared to the 2016 baseline.
Recycled Content: Recycled material usage in production reached approximately 7%. This was driven by increased use of recycled steel, silica from rice husk ash, and carbon black produced from recovered pyrolytic oil of end-of-life tires.
Turkey Facility and CDP Ratings
As of January 1, 2025, all Coach CO2 (295/80R22.5) tires produced at the Kocaeli plant in Turkey contain 23% ISCC+ certified materials based on the mass balance approach.

Aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) 1.5°C scenario, the company continues its trajectory toward climate neutrality by 2040.
