Talya Bitkisel Invests $6 Million in New Factory

Talya Bitkisel, which transforms Türkiye’s rich medicinal and aromatic plant diversity into high value-added products, is accelerating its global growth targets with a $6 million factory investment. Starting its journey as a small herbal shop in Antalya, the brand has evolved into an international production company exporting to 40 countries, particularly the United States.

A Growth Journey from Antalya to Global Markets

Talya Bitkisel, carrying Türkiye’s plant-based production strength to global markets, has transformed its journey from a small-scale herbal shop in Antalya into an internationally expanding production model.

Founded in Antalya 23 years ago, the company operates across aromatic plants, essential oils, food supplements, and phytotherapy-based product groups.

By transforming Anatolia’s rich medicinal and aromatic plant diversity into high value-added products, Talya Bitkisel now sells across a wide geography, particularly in the United States. The company further strengthened its international operations through the structure it established in the U.S. 11 years ago.

$6 Million New Factory Investment

As of 2025, Talya Bitkisel has launched a $6 million factory investment process.

With new production lines planned at its facility established on a total area of 10,000 square meters in Antalya Döşemealtı, the company is undertaking a comprehensive transformation of its production infrastructure.

Through this investment, Talya Bitkisel aims to increase its monthly production capacity in food supplements from 1 million units to 10 million units as of 2026.

This capacity increase stands out as a strategic step that will strengthen not only the brand’s position in the domestic market but also its competitiveness in export markets.

Production in Line with FDA Standards

Operating at its production facilities in Antalya Döşemealtı, Talya Bitkisel develops its products in the vitamin, mineral, aromatherapy, and cosmetics categories in line with international quality expectations.

The company offers its products to global markets in compliance with FDA standards. Generating a significant share of its revenue from exports, Talya Bitkisel continues to carry Türkiye’s botanical wealth to international markets through high value-added products.

“We Aim to Make Türkiye a Global Production Hub for Botanical Products”

Talya Bitkisel Founder M. Halis Ertaş stated that Türkiye has one of the world’s strongest potentials in medicinal and aromatic plant diversity.

Ertaş described the company’s growth vision as follows:

Türkiye has one of the strongest potentials in the world in this field with its medicinal and aromatic plant diversity. By transforming this potential into high value-added products, we have built a structure that not only manufactures but also exports brands on a global scale.

Emphasizing that Talya Bitkisel currently exports to 40 countries, Ertaş said their goal is to expand this success into much wider markets:

“Today, we export to 40 countries; however, our goal is to carry this success to much broader markets and make Türkiye a global production center in the fields of phytotherapy and botanical products.”
