At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, ASAŞ welcomed global commercial vehicle OEMs and logistics stakeholders at Hall 25, Booth C30. Addressing structural lightweighting, payload expansion, and fleet decarbonization, the company presented its end-to-end manufacturing footprint spanning raw casting, high-tonnage extrusion, CNC machining, and robotic sub-assembly.

150MN Extrusion Capabilities and Dedicated EV Engineering

To meet stringent vehicle emissions targets and commercial fleet electrification demands, ASAŞ detailed its advanced manufacturing assets:

  • 150MN Extrusion Press: Operating Europe's largest extrusion press, ASAŞ manufactures large-format profiles measuring up to 1000 mm in width, 670 mm in height, and 30 meters in length.

  • 45MN Hybrex Line: Delivering up to 50% energy savings, the 4500-ton Hybrex extrusion line produces high-strength structural profiles, vehicle bodies, and specialized battery casing modules for electric commercial platforms.

  • Turnkey Modular Delivery: Integrating processes from melting and billet casting to high-precision CNC milling and automated robotic welding along 120-meter lines, ASAŞ supplies complete, ready-to-assemble structural kits. This minimizes Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and extends the battery range of commercial fleets by lowering deadweight.

Decarbonization via NexAL Low-Carbon Billet

Addressing Scope 3 supply chain emissions, ASAŞ featured its NexAL brand. Utilizing low-carbon primary ingots, circular scrap recycling, and 100% I-REC certified renewable power, NexAL provides lot-level digital traceability and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), enabling commercial vehicle makers to achieve measurable sustainability targets.
