Presented during a dedicated symposium at the ACS Fall Meeting, the award recognizes Corsi’s contributions to discovering pydiflumetofen (ADEPIDYN technology), isocycloseram (PLINAZOLIN technology), spiropidion (TINIVION technology), and the novel SDHI nematicide cyclobutrifluram (TYMIRIUM technology).
These molecules provide broad-spectrum protection against key crop diseases, pests, and parasitic nematodes across global agricultural regions.
Global Research Leadership
Corsi joined Syngenta in 2004 and assumed leadership of the Crop Protection R&D unit in January 2025, directing over 3,000 scientists and regulatory experts across 51 countries. She holds a chemistry degree from the University of Florence and a PhD from University College London (UCL).
