Kimpur has certified its PET-based polyester polyol operations, announced at its Düzce plant in 2025, with ReMade® accreditation. Issued on July 15, 2026, under registration RE1219, the certificate remains valid until July 14, 2029, subject to surveillance audits.
The certification covers three polyester polyols and two rigid polyurethane foam systems within Kimpur’s product portfolio, assisting European panel manufacturers in meeting Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM).
Independent Verification and Operational Performance
Audited by certification body ICMQ, the evaluation verified the origin, supply chain traceability, production records, and mass balance calculation methodology of post-consumer recycled PET inputs.
The post-consumer recycled PET content reaches up to 40% by weight depending on the product. Offering mechanical and technical performance comparable to conventional counterparts, the certified products process directly on existing production lines. Kimpur has already completed its first commercial shipment of these products to a sandwich panel manufacturer in Europe.
Executive Statement
Tuncay Halat, Vice General Manager of Sales, Marketing and Sustainability at Kimpur, stated:
ReMade® certification independently verifies the ratio of recycled content used in our products and its traceability throughout the supply chain. Thus, we provide our European customers with measurable and certifiable recycled content options. With these products that do not compromise on technical and mechanical performance, we contribute to our customers' environmental targets. We believe this development will expand our partnerships in the European construction sector and support our goal of increasing market share in the region.
