CHT Group, which operates in the field of chemical and coating solutions, received the gold medal from the international sustainability assessment organization EcoVadis in recognition of its overall sustainability performance.
Each year, EcoVadis evaluates thousands of companies worldwide, assessing sustainability performance across four main pillars: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. According to the assessment, CHT’s overall score increased compared with previous years, reaching 81 out of 100, with progress recorded across all four categories.
In this year’s report, CHT received particularly high scores for improvements in energy efficiency, waste reduction, and supply chain transparency. In a statement, CHT management said the gold medal reflects the company’s long-term sustainability vision and core values, emphasizing that sustainable production and environmental management goals are fully integrated into all business processes.
The company also noted that this achievement was realized in close collaboration with its supply chain partners and customers, adding that it plans to further expand partnerships focused on sustainability-driven initiatives. CHT’s performance is seen as part of a broader trend toward increased competition and transparency around sustainability practices within the chemicals industry.
