Royal Canin has strengthened its leadership team in line with its growth objectives in Türkiye and the Eurasia region, announcing the appointments of Erol Şimşek as Country Manager for Royal Canin Türkiye and Aybars Aksoy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Eurasia region.

Erol Şimşek Appointed to Lead Türkiye Operations
With nearly 20 years of experience across the energy, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, and technology sectors, Erol Şimşek has held a wide range of commercial and managerial roles throughout his career. At leading companies such as Shell and Getir, he led regional sales operations, developed new business models, expanded franchise networks, and designed customer experience strategies.
As Country Manager for Royal Canin Türkiye, Şimşek will be responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy in the country, strengthening operational excellence, and delivering sustainable growth objectives. His priorities will include enhancing customer experience, optimizing sales and operational processes, and reinforcing the business partner ecosystem.
Şimşek holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University and an MBA from Çukurova University.
Aybars Aksoy Takes Over as Eurasia Region CFO
Aybars Aksoy brings more than two decades of international experience in senior finance roles within the FMCG and e-commerce sectors. With deep expertise in financial planning, profitability management, and strategic decision support, Aksoy has worked across multi-market structures at companies including Hepsiburada, Getir, The Coca-Cola Company, and Philip Morris International. He has led business planning, performance management, and financial transformation projects, contributing to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
In his role as CFO for Royal Canin’s Eurasia region, Aksoy will oversee the development of the region’s long-term financial strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth initiatives.
