Karel’s Subsidiary Daiichi Secures $100 Million Project Contract in Automotive Electronics

Daiichi Elektronik, a subsidiary of Karel Electronics, has received a nomination from a global automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for a new project covering the development, validation, and mass production of vehicle components. The collaboration is projected to generate a total business volume of approximately 100 million dollars over a 5-year period.

Daiichi Elektronik, in which Karel holds a 54% controlling stake, has signed a new international agreement to expand its market share in the automotive electronics segment. Under the terms of the contract, Daiichi will manage the advanced engineering, technical verification, and serial manufacturing phases for a global automotive brand.

Karel, which executes its electronic board and systems manufacturing operations at a 35,000 m² facility in the Ankara Sincan Organized Industrial Zone, is a Doğan Holding company listed on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker KAREL. Operating across a global network including Turkey, China, Italy, India, Brazil, and Uzbekistan, Daiichi develops in-vehicle infotainment, navigation, and smart connectivity matrices for more than 50 automobile models worldwide.
