İGDAŞ Achieves International Recognition in Occupational Safety
İGDAŞ, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, has been recognized internationally for its strong occupational health and safety practices.
The company received the “Distinction” rating at the 2025 International Safety Awards, one of the respected global programs organized by the British Safety Council.
Serving more than 7 million subscribers across Istanbul’s 39 districts, İGDAŞ stood out in the evaluation with its corporate approach focused on employee health, safety, and wellbeing.
High Performance with 49/50 Points
İGDAŞ was evaluated across several key areas, including occupational health and safety management, risk prevention, employee wellbeing, and the effectiveness of corporate practices.
As a result of the comprehensive assessment, the company achieved 49 out of 50 points, certifying its high performance in creating a safe working environment, proactively managing risks, and building a lasting safety culture.
This achievement also demonstrates that İGDAŞ’s high standards are recognized not only in internal occupational safety practices, but also in field operations, service continuity, and safe infrastructure management.

İGDAŞ General Manager Nihat Narin stated that the award is a concrete reflection of the company’s preventive approach and continuous improvement culture.
