The "Stars of Occupational Safety Awards," organized by the Turkish Employers' Association of Metal Industries (MESS) and recognized as the most prestigious platform for safety culture in industry, celebrated its 10th anniversary. During the ceremony held on Friday, May 8, at the MESS Technology Center - MEXT, 33 awards across 5 different categories were presented. The major organization, held as part of Occupational Health and Safety Week, brought together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors under the vision of a "zero-accident future."
High-Level Summit: Minister Işıkhan and Industry Leaders
Hosted by MESS Board Chairman Özgür Burak Akkol, the ceremony was attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan. Representatives from MESS member companies and industry experts were present at the event, which honors projects that raise safety standards in the industrial sector.
