The 18th Sustainable Performance Awards Ceremony, organized this year by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KSO), was held with the participation of Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The ceremony, which aims to raise sustainability awareness in industry and encourage companies to take action in this field, attracted strong attendance.
Hosted by KSO Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and KSO Assembly Chairman Hasan Tahsin Tuğrul, the event was attended by Kocaeli Governor İlhami Aktaş, Erdoğan Özegen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Fund, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın, Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk, Rector of Kocaeli University, Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar, Rector of Gebze Technical University, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Rector of KOSTÜ, as well as provincial directors, heads of organized industrial zones, and numerous invited guests.
Awards Presented to the Winners
During the ceremony, a total of eight companies received awards in different categories. Awards were presented in the SME Category, the Large-Scale Enterprise Category, as well as the Encouragement Award and the Excellence Award categories.
