Turkey's pharmaceutical leader, Abdi İbrahim, continues to strengthen its global operations by appointing Burak Şen, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in international markets, as Marketing Director for International Markets.

Abdi İbrahim, the leading player in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry, has made a strategic senior appointment to bolster its global presence and modernize its organizational structure. Burak Şen, who brings over 17 years of experience in marketing, sales, and market access across diverse geographies—including the Gulf region and South Africa—has officially assumed his role leading the company’s international marketing strategies.

17 Years of Global Industry Expertise

A graduate of Istanbul Technical University’s Management Engineering department with a master’s degree in International Business from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, Burak Şen returns to Abdi İbrahim, where he originally began his career. Most recently, Şen spent a decade at Eli Lilly and Company, holding key leadership positions such as Marketing Manager for South Africa, Senior Marketing Manager for Turkey, and Country Manager for the Upper Gulf region (Kuwait and Qatar).

In his new capacity, Şen will shape Abdi İbrahim’s marketing vision across international borders. His core responsibilities include:
