Doğuş Teknoloji has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of Dr. Serhan Yılmaz, a prominent figure recognized for his global experience and multidimensional leadership in the technology ecosystem. Starting February 2, Yılmaz will serve as Vice General Manager responsible for Data and Artificial Intelligence (CAIO), spearheading the company’s strategic AI and data transformation initiatives. In addition to his responsibilities at Doğuş Teknoloji, he will also take on the role of Vice General Manager for Data and AI (CDO) at Doğuş Group.

Global Experience and Interdisciplinary Academic Background
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Serhan Yılmaz has held executive roles at leading global organizations including Turkcell, IBM, SAP, and NTT Data. Since 2022, he has served as Country Channel Leader at Google Cloud. In his new position, Yılmaz will focus on advancing Doğuş Teknoloji’s data and AI strategy and accelerating its transformation vision.
Yılmaz began his academic journey with degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration (minor). He further enhanced his interdisciplinary expertise through a Master’s program in Public Law at Hacettepe University, a management degree from the International MBA Institute in Switzerland, and a Commercial Law program at Harvard University. He completed his PhD in Business Administration at Conley American University.
Recognized as a Storyteller and Educator
Beyond his corporate achievements, Dr. Yılmaz is widely known as a “storyteller” and educator. He has spoken on more than 10 TEDx stages and delivered talks at over 80 universities. Through his training programs, he has reached more than 100,000 participants, while his digital content has been viewed by over one million people. He is also the author of the book “Yaşamak Geçerken.”
Dr. Yılmaz has further contributed to the development of the engineering and technology sectors through his eight-year role as an evaluator at MÜDEK. He is actively involved in civil society and continues to serve in various leadership positions, including as a Board Member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, Vice President of the Turkish Sales and Business Development Association, Chief Advisor at TÜSİAV, Advisor to the Turkish Bar Association, and Technology Commission Leader at Darüşşafaka Society.
