The 6th Ordinary General Assembly of PANELDER, an association dedicated to advancing Türkiye’s roofing, façade, and insulation sector, was held on February 27, 2026. During the meeting, the association elected its new Board of Directors, which will serve for the next three-year term.
Following the elections, the newly formed board held an internal meeting and re-elected Celalettin Hakan Katırcı as Chairman.
Strengthening Sectoral Representation in the New Term
In his address during the meeting, Katırcı emphasized that the previous term focused on increasing membership and strengthening engagement with public institutions. He stated that the association aims to expand its sectoral influence in the coming period.
General Secretary Yusuf Güven also delivered a presentation reviewing the association’s activities over the past three years and provided information on planned amendments to the association’s bylaws.
Female Representation on the Board: Cavidan Karaca
Cavidan Karaca, representing Kimteks A.Ş., became the only female member of the new Board of Directors.
Karaca, known for her senior management experience in the chemical and industrial sectors, is expected to contribute to PANELDER’s strategic initiatives, particularly in insulation, panel technologies, and the broader construction materials ecosystem. Her appointment is also seen as a notable step for female representation within the sector.
