The BOSAD Member Networking Event, held as part of World Paint Week, brought together leading representatives of the paint industry on a single platform. During the event, the current state of the sector, global developments, and future projections were comprehensively discussed.

As part of the program, participants exchanged views on the upcoming Paintistanbul Fair, to be held on June 17–19, 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center, as well as the Paintistanbul Congress scheduled for 2027.

Leading industry figures took the stage
The event featured speeches by BOSAD Chairman Kenan Baytaş, BOSAD Vice Chairman and Fair Committee Chairman Hakan Ünal, İKMİB Chairman Adil Pelister, İKMİB Chairman Candidate İbrahim Aracı, and Prof. Dr. Erhan Aslanoğlu from Istanbul Bilgi University.

Collaboration and exports highlighted
Speakers emphasized the critical role of collaboration and strong communication in ensuring the sustainable growth of the sector.
Kenan Baytaş, Chairman of BOSAD, underlined that strengthening intra-industry cooperation is essential for sustainable growth. He stated that strong coordination among stakeholders would enhance both local and global competitiveness.

Hakan Ünal, BOSAD Vice Chairman and Fair Committee Chairman, noted that the Paintistanbul Fair is more than just an event, describing it as a strategic platform that adds value to the sector on an international scale. He highlighted its role in fostering strong interaction between global players and local producers.

Adil Pelister, Chairman of İKMİB, emphasized the pivotal role of the chemical industry in Türkiye’s exports and pointed to the strategic position of the paint industry within this structure. He noted the sector’s strength in value-added production and export potential.

İbrahim Aracı, İKMİB Chairman Candidate, stressed the importance of developing a shared vision and establishing strong communication channels to enhance competitiveness. He stated that collective action among stakeholders is a key driver of sustainable success.

Prof. Dr. Erhan Aslanoğlu from Istanbul Bilgi University evaluated the impact of global economic developments on the sector. He highlighted the opportunities and risks the industry may face in the coming period, emphasizing that accurate analysis of macroeconomic dynamics is crucial for strategic decision-making.
