A leadership change has taken place at ÇCSİB, which represents Türkiye’s cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware products sectors. Ender Şahin, Export and Logistics Director at Medcem Cement Group, was elected Chairman of the Board following the association’s 2025 Ordinary Elective General Assembly.
In the new term, Şahin is expected to lead initiatives aimed at strengthening Türkiye’s export capacity, increasing the sector’s effectiveness in international markets and supporting sustainable growth targets.
Stronger Focus on Exports, Logistics and Sectoral Cooperation
In a statement issued by Medcem Cement Group, the company emphasized that Ender Şahin has made significant contributions to the sector through his long-standing industry experience, foreign trade expertise and strong background in logistics management.
The statement also expressed confidence that Şahin will lead key efforts to enhance the global competitiveness of Türkiye’s exporters in the coming period.
Under the new leadership, ÇCSİB is expected to focus on projects that create value for exporters in close coordination with sector stakeholders.
