In line with its U.S. expansion plans, Novopor Advanced Science Private Limited has integrated FAR Chemical into its organization. FAR Chemical, which focuses on electronics, aerospace and defense, coatings and adhesives, and other specialty chemical applications, previously operated under its U.S.-based parent company, CPS Performance Materials Group.
Targeting an end-to-end “specialty chemicals” platform
According to the companies’ statements, this move marks a significant milestone in Novopor’s strategy to build an integrated specialty chemicals platform spanning from early-stage process development to commercial-scale production. FAR Chemical’s expertise in complex chemistries is expected to complement Novopor’s existing capabilities and strengthen its footprint in the U.S. market.
Commenting on the development, Novopor Advanced Science CEO Radhesh Welling said:
“This move enhances our ability to support a broader range of chemistries, accelerate time to market for new products, and strengthen our presence in key high-growth markets.”
Bain Capital partner Saahil Bhatia highlighted the scale created by the combination, stating:
“The combination of FAR Chemical and Novopor strengthens the platform’s technical depth, geographic reach, and its ability to support customers across the entire product lifecycle.”
FAR Chemical President Justin O’Connor also emphasized operational priorities, noting:
“This partnership enhances our ability to invest in advanced capabilities while maintaining the highest safety standards and operational discipline, and strengthens our capacity to support customers seamlessly from development through commercial-scale manufacturing.”
