IMCD Appoints Aylin Zakuto as Regional Director for the Middle East, Egypt, Israel and Türkiye

MCD has announced the appointment of Aylin Zakuto as Regional Director for the Middle East, Egypt, Israel and Türkiye, effective 1 June 2026. In her expanded role, Zakuto will oversee operations across the region, strengthening IMCD’s integrated service model for customers and suppliers.

IMCD has made a senior regional leadership appointment as part of its growth strategy across dynamic and fast-developing markets. Aylin Zakuto has been appointed Regional Director for the Middle East, Egypt, Israel and Türkiye, effective 1 June 2026.

In her new role, Zakuto will be responsible for IMCD’s operations across the region. She will focus on ensuring stronger strategic alignment, consistent service excellence and broader access to IMCD’s technical and commercial expertise for both customers and suppliers.

Stronger Regional Alignment Across Key Growth Markets

With this expanded responsibility, Zakuto will lead IMCD’s regional commercial and operational structure across the Middle East, Egypt, Israel and Türkiye.

The appointment is expected to support a more connected, responsive and ambitious regional organization, particularly in markets with high growth potential and increasing demand for specialty chemicals and ingredients solutions.

Zakuto brings more than 17 years of experience at IMCD to the role. Her deep regional knowledge and strong commercial track record are expected to play a key role in advancing IMCD’s regional growth agenda.
