The iF Design Award 2026 winners were revealed after the final jury evaluation held in Hamburg.

Presented for over 70 years by iF International Forum Design GmbH, the award represents a holistic approach to design that goes beyond aesthetics, encompassing innovation, functionality and social impact.

This year, more than 10,000 submissions from 68 countries were evaluated by a jury of 129 international design experts. Winning at this scale is widely regarded as a strong indicator of global quality and credibility.

Diverse Success from Türkiye

Projects from Türkiye stood out across multiple disciplines, ranging from interior architecture and product design to digital interfaces and office solutions. The breadth of recognition once again underlines the maturity and versatility of Türkiye’s creative industries ecosystem.

Award-winning brands include Nurus, Koleksiyon, Zivella, Feltouch, Parla, Enne, Burotime, Snoc, Hidromek, BSH, Bosch, Vestel, Beko, Tanatar, Curium, Kale, VitrA, Trendyol, Akbank and Odeabank.

These achievements demonstrate that Türkiye competes globally not only through manufacturing strength, but also through design-oriented thinking and creative capability.

Redefining Design: Impact, Responsibility and Sustainability

Sinem Kocayaş, Regional Representative for Türkiye and the Middle East, noted that sustainability has become a defining factor across all categories in 2026 evaluations.

In particular, Gold Award-winning projects, from buildings to packaging design, prominently feature carefully developed concepts aimed at contributing to a better world.

The jury process once again highlighted that design today is no longer merely an aesthetic expression, but a strategic tool carrying environmental and social responsibility.

A Multidisciplinary Benchmark in Design Evaluation

One of the key differentiators of the iF Design Award is its broad interdisciplinary category structure and rigorously designed evaluation methodology.

Each project is assessed based on five core criteria:

  • Idea

  • Form

  • Function

  • Differentiation

  • Impact

This framework ensures that projects are evaluated not only for visual excellence, but also for user experience, innovation and societal contribution.

As emphasized during the evaluation process, the winners represent not just “good design,” but meaningful and impactful design.

A Strategic Lever for Export and Global Competitiveness

Beyond prestige, the iF Design Award provides international visibility, new collaboration opportunities and commercial potential for winning projects.

For Turkish brands in particular, the platform serves as a strategic lever to:

  • Build credibility in global markets

  • Enhance brand value

  • Connect with international clients and investors

As design continues to gain strategic importance in business, broader participation from Turkish brands across disciplines could further strengthen Türkiye’s creative export capacity and global positioning.
