P&G, a global leader in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, has restructured its organizational framework to increase agility across its operating markets. Under the new corporate layout, Oya Öngör, who had been serving as the Chairman of the Board for P&G Turkey, Caucasus, and Central Asia since May 2025, has been named the leader of a newly consolidated region. This territory includes Turkey, Caucasus, India, Saudi Arabia, Africa, and the Gulf countries, representing roughly 48 percent of the global population. Based in Dubai, Öngör will report directly to the company's global CEO, Shailesh Jejurikar.
Concurrently, Burak Akkiriş has been appointed to succeed Öngör as the Chairman of the Board for P&G Turkey and Caucasus. Since 2023, Akkiriş has been based in Switzerland, serving as the Vice President of Product Supply for P&G European Oral Care. Realized within the scope of P&G's internal talent development and "promote-from-within" principles, these executive shifts position leaders with extensive global supply chain and commercial operations backgrounds at the helm of regional management.
