Bayer Opens Applications for G4A Accelerator Program in Health and Agriculture

Bayer is inviting early-stage entrepreneurs in health and agriculture to apply for its G4A Startup Accelerator Program, offering funding and mentoring opportunities for scalable digital solutions.

Istanbul, December 26, 2025 – Applications for Bayer’s G4A Startup Accelerator Program will open on January 2 and remain available until February 1, 2026. The program, launched in collaboration with Tenity, has supported Turkey’s startup ecosystem since 2018 by fostering innovation in health and agriculture.

The G4A program is open to entrepreneurs offering scalable, sustainable digital solutions in the fields of health and agriculture. Eligible applicants must have moved beyond the idea stage and developed either a minimal viable product (MVP), a working prototype, or already launched a product in the market. Applications can be submitted via g4a.bayer.com.tr, where detailed focus areas are also listed.

Each selected startup will receive grant funding of 500,000 TL, provided certain requirements are met*.

Bayer’s G4A Program Manager, Melis Soylu, commented on the new program cycle, stating:
"This year, we are united under a single theme: transforming technology into functional, value-creating solutions. In healthcare, our focus is on innovative digital communication models and next-generation distribution channels that improve access to products, patients, healthcare professionals and consumers. We are also interested in solutions that enhance the patient journey and enable early diagnosis and treatment. In agriculture, we are prioritizing startups that use data-driven decision-making to increase efficiency, apply variable-rate technologies based on field conditions, develop new equipment or improve existing systems. In both sectors, we are looking for innovations that make sense of data, simplify life, and deliver measurable benefits."

They will also benefit from mentorship by industry experts, including Bayer employees, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with Bayer, expand their networks and improve their products. Grant funding of 500,000 TL will be awarded to selected participants*.

Over the past eight years, Bayer’s G4A Accelerator has supported 47 startups with nearly 10 million TL in funding, mentorship, training, networking and collaboration opportunities. Among these, 17 startups have gone on to generate sales, secure investments, or enter international markets. Their combined valuation has now reached 172 million USD.
