Yıldız Holding has implemented a significant organizational restructuring, appointing two senior executives to reinforce its strategic growth roadmap. The company named Mert Altınkılınç as Head of the newly established Food Group, while Ali Sözen was appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operational processes.
With this new structure, the holding aims to centralize its food operations under a single umbrella, enhancing coordination across production, supply chain, innovation, and export activities.
Mert Altınkılınç appointed as Head of Food Group
Mert Altınkılınç, who has been with Yıldız Holding since 2005, most recently served as CEO of Besler since 2022. With a background in industrial engineering and an international MBA, Altınkılınç brings strong expertise in managing integrated food operations.
Ali Sözen appointed as COO
Ali Sözen, who brings over 35 years of experience in the food and FMCG sectors, has been appointed as COO. He previously held senior roles at Yıldız Holding between 2011 and 2015 and has served as CEO of Lactalis Türkiye since 2015. In his new role, Sözen will be responsible for operational efficiency, budget management, and investment development processes.
Through this restructuring, Yıldız Holding aims to further strengthen its operational excellence and global competitiveness.
