Sintek Heavy Industries Secures New Infrastructure Contract in the Defense Industry

Sintek Heavy Industries has signed an agreement with one of Turkey's leading defense industry institutions for a new technology investment project to be executed in Ankara. Covering construction, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and ventilation workflows, the project will be delivered by the company on a turnkey basis within 14 months.

At a time when Turkey's defense and aerospace export volume surpassed the 10 billion dollar threshold in 2025, with the new contract backlog reaching 17.8 billion dollars, infrastructural and capacity enhancement investments in the sector continue to pick up pace. Sintek Heavy Industries, a provider of turnkey industrial plants and high-technology installations, announced that it expanded its footprint within the defense supply chain via a contract signed at the end of June.

The strategic investment project based in Ankara requires rigorous execution parameters, advanced project management, and cross-disciplinary coordination. Utilizing its integrated engineering matrices, automation layouts, and electromechanical installation capabilities, the Sintek Group subsidiary aims to strengthen its market share in high value-added industrial construction fields.

Industrial Plant Experience and Strategic Infrastructure Operations

Evaluating the operational framework of the new contract and the company's medium-term positioning, Sintek Heavy Industries Chairman Hüseyin Özkan shared the following details:

The defense industry is one of the leading strategic areas that requires high expertise not only in terms of production capacity but also in engineering competence, quality standards, time management, and interdisciplinary coordination. We are transferring our engineering, application, and contracting experience gained across various sectors to strategic investments with this project in the defense industry. Especially in investments requiring high precision, we possess a structure capable of simultaneously planning and executing construction, mechanical, and electrical infrastructures, and delivering turnkey project management. We place great importance on participating in new investment and infrastructure projects needed by the growing defense industry ecosystem in Turkey, and being a solution partner in high value-added areas. In the upcoming period, we will continue to expand our engineering power, project management capability, and international execution experience through new projects we will undertake in strategic sectors, primarily the defense industry.
