The results of the 2025 “Stars of Export Awards,” organized for the 11th time by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB), have been announced. World Medicine once again topped the pharmaceutical exports category, achieving leadership for the 5th time.
The award ceremony, attended by Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat and İKMİB Chairman Adil Pelister, saw the award presented to Sohrab Mammadli, Vice Chairman of the Board of World Medicine.
Commenting on the achievement, Mammadli stated:
“Winning the championship once again on such an important platform for our industry as the Stars of Export is a great source of pride for us. With our global strength and domestic investments, we operate in more than 65 countries with the vision of being a reliable business partner. This success is the result of our long-term vision and our determined efforts.”
Growth Driven by R&D, Production and Exports
World Medicine continues to expand through its sustainable growth strategy, focusing on R&D, production, and exports. The company aims to strengthen its international competitiveness, particularly through generic drug manufacturing and science-based investments.
Mammadli emphasized this strategic approach:

WMINOLAB and Scientific Infrastructure
Scientific infrastructure investments remain at the core of the company’s growth strategy. World Medicine is positioning WMINOLAB as a center of sustainable scientific excellence, while placing innovation at the heart of its growth engine.
Mammadli added:
“By supporting our export leadership and new investments with this strong scientific infrastructure, we will continue to expand into new markets and increase our export volume in the coming period.”
Strong Position in Global Markets
With its ongoing investments and expanding product portfolio, World Medicine continues to contribute to the global representation of Türkiye’s pharmaceutical industry. The company remains committed to its export-driven growth strategy in the coming years.
