LABSİAD has successfully held its Ordinary General Assembly meeting and announced its new governance structure for the upcoming term. During the election held at the Assembly, Ms. Nihal Özçelik was elected as the new Chair of the Board.
With this appointment, Özçelik has become the first woman to assume the presidency in the association’s history, marking a significant milestone for LABSİAD. The association stated that this development represents the beginning of a new era in terms of institutional vision and future growth.
In line with the agenda items discussed at the General Assembly, the previous term’s activity report and the official minutes of the meeting were shared with members via email. The new Board of Directors and role assignments for the upcoming period were also communicated to the membership.
LABSİAD emphasized that the new term will be guided by a management approach based on transparency, participation, and active member contribution, with the aim of delivering initiatives that add value to both the association and the sector.
