Henkel Completes Acquisition of Hair Care Brand OLAPLEX

Henkel has finalized its acquisition of the premium science-led hair care brand OLAPLEX. The successful completion of the transaction, which sees OLAPLEX officially integrated into Henkel's Consumer Brands division, elevates Henkel to the position of global number two in the professional hair care market.

A major consolidation in the global professional beauty and hair care sectors has concluded. Henkel announced that all closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals, have been fulfilled to finalize the acquisition of OLAPLEX.

OLAPLEX, recognized for its science-backed, high-performance bond-building formulations, generated approximately 370 million euros in sales during the 2025 fiscal year, backed by a robust gross margin. The brand's product range—distributed across professional salon networks, specialty retail, and direct-to-consumer e-commerce channels—structurally complements Henkel’s existing hair care lineup.

Expanding North American Footprint and Premium Market Share

The transaction marks a milestone in Henkel's long-term corporate growth and portfolio optimization strategy:
