Double A- Rating in CDP’s Climate Change and Water Security Programs
Turkey’s leading energy company Tüpraş secured a major achievement in the 2025 assessments of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), one of the world’s most respected environmental disclosure platforms. The company received a double A- score in CDP’s Climate Change and Water Security programs, ranking in the top category of the global oil and gas sector.
With this result, Tüpraş stood out in CDP’s global evaluation covering more than 22,000 companies worldwide.
Strategic Integrity and Proactive Risk Management Recognized
CDP’s assessment highlighted Tüpraş’s strong performance in several key areas, including the strategic coherence of its sustainability approach, its clear stance on environmental policies, and its proactive management of risks and opportunities related to both climate and water governance.
The company also earned high scores in CDP’s criteria for transparency, risk management, and target setting, reflecting that its sustainability vision is being effectively implemented in alignment with its Strategic Transformation Plan.
Progress Toward a 2050 Carbon-Neutral Target
Under its Strategic Transformation Plan, Tüpraş aims to become a carbon-neutral leading energy company by 2050. As part of this roadmap, the company has been implementing energy and water efficiency projects across its refinery operations while accelerating its renewable energy investments.

In line with its Strategic Transformation Plan, Tüpraş continues to rank highly in several national and international sustainability indices through its environmental, social, and corporate governance efforts.
The company is placed in the top 10% of its sector in both the FTSE4Good and LSEG (Refinitiv) sustainability indices. It also ranks among the top 10 companies in its sector in the S&P Dow Jones and Sustainalytics assessments.
