Aydem Renewable Energy Strengthens Board, Female Representation Surpasses 60%

Aydem Renewable Energy has appointed Betül Sarıkaya to its board, pushing female representation to a new high. Women now hold 5 out of 8 seats, exceeding 60% of the board. The move highlights the company’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable governance.

Aydem Renewable Energy, Türkiye’s largest company with an installed capacity fully based on renewable sources, has strengthened its board of directors with a key appointment. Industry veteran Betül Sarıkaya has joined as an Independent Board Member.

With this addition, the number of female board members has increased to 5 out of 8, raising the gender balance to over 60%. This milestone positions the company as a leader in inclusive governance within the energy sector.

Previously recognized by the 30% Club Türkiye with the “Women-Strengthened Board” award, Aydem continues to advance its commitment to diversity in decision-making processes.
