Projects that ranked in the Innovation Awards organized under the Reliable Product Platform’s Feed the Future program presented their work on the stage of the Joint Development Congress. With the project titled “Design of an AuNP-Based Lateral Flow Biosensor for the Detection of Pesticide Residues,” Lale Oğuzhan, a Biotechnology Master’s student at Üsküdar University, won the Innovation Award. CarrefourSA received an honorable mention for its Ghost Nets project, while Migros was awarded an honorable mention for its Innovative Support Projects for Local Agriculture.
The GPD Innovation Awards aim to bring together projects developed to increase efficiency in the food supply chain, particularly in agriculture, reduce waste, strengthen environmental sustainability, and ensure quality throughout the supply chain.
