PepsiCo has announced a significant appointment within its global organization. Seren Çankırı, who previously served as **Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of PepsiCo Türkiye**, has been appointed as **CMO for PepsiCo UK & Ireland effective May 1**.

In her new role, Çankırı will be responsible for **brand strategy, portfolio growth, innovation, insights management, and capability development** across the company’s food category in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Çankırı joined PepsiCo in **2006** and has since held a range of marketing roles across different categories. She led the **flavored carbonated beverages portfolio** within the beverages division before moving to the **Eastern Europe Foods Marketing team in 2014**, where she gained regional experience.

During her tenure, she managed a broad portfolio of global and local brands and led the **Doritos & Family Fun platform in Eastern Europe**. She later returned to Türkiye as **Senior Marketing Director**, and most recently served as **CMO of PepsiCo Türkiye**.

A graduate of Boğaziçi University with a degree in Economics, Çankırı began her career in **2004 at Estée Lauder Türkiye (Vepa)**. She later worked at Alarko Tourism before joining PepsiCo.

With this appointment, PepsiCo aims to further accelerate growth and strengthen its brand presence in the European food market.
