# Çimko Prepares to Build New Integrated Cement Plant in Aleppo

Strengthening its regional production footprint, Çimko has finalized an industrial agreement to build an integrated manufacturing facility in the Al-Muslimiyah industrial zone north of Aleppo. Situated near raw material reserves and primary transport arteries, the facility will supply certified, high-grade cement directly to regional infrastructure and urban rebuilding projects.

The official protocol was signed on October 1, 2026, by **Adil Sani Konukoğlu, Chairman of SANKO Holding and Çimko**, and **Mahmud Fadile, Director General of Syrian State Cement Company OMRAN**.

The ceremony was attended by Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Muhammed Nidal al-Shaar, Turkish Ambassador to Syria Dr. Nuh Yılmaz, Aleppo Investment Authority Chairman Arch. Mohammad Hazim Lutfi, Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Gharib, Consul General Muammer Hakan Cengiz, and Turkish industrial delegations.

Constructed under a Build-Operate-Transfer model in two operational phases, key parameters of the project include:
