**Burpol Polymer**, a Bursa-based company that recycles plastic waste using advanced technologies and turns it back into raw material, has achieved a significant milestone at the **Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) Green Transformation Awards 2025**. The company received the **third-place award** in the **“Sustainability Strategy”** category, following **Ülker Bisküvi** and **Tüpraş**. Selected among hundreds of applications from across Türkiye, Burpol’s recognition highlights its circular economy-focused roadmap at a national level.

At the award ceremony, **Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Fatma Varank** and **ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan** emphasized that sustainability has become a key driver of competitiveness in industry. The award was accepted on behalf of Burpol by **Chair of the Board İlkay Yıldırım**, who said: **“Bu başarı, sürdürülebilirliğin tüm karar süreçlerimize entegre edildiğinin ve paydaşlarımıza somut değer ürettiğimizin göstergesidir,”**.

Established in 1995, the ISO Green Transformation Awards aim to highlight innovative practices in environmental performance, energy efficiency and sustainability. Burpol has previously been recognized with the **TOBB “Türkiye’nin Girişimci Kadın Gücü – En Çevre Dostu Kadın Girişimci” Award (2023)** and the **PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards (2024)**.
