Christopher Nolan's new film *The Odyssey*, adapted from Homer's epic, has revived international interest in ancient narratives and Mediterranean maritime culture. In Turkey, the **Troy Museum Maritime Exhibition Area**, realized through a partnership between the 360 Degree Historical Research Association and the Troy Museum, with support from Enerjisa Üretim, reinterprets this ancient tradition through experimental archaeology.

As part of the project, the **Hippoi vessel**, which symbolizes the epic journey in the Odyssey and features a signature horse figure at its bow, was reconstructed at the 360 Degree Historical Research Association's campus in Urla. Built using the mortise-and-tenon technique without metal fasteners, the replica was relocated to the Troy Museum as a permanent exhibit.

Following the film's release, an open letter was written to director Christopher Nolan with the theme *"The ship you forgot is in Troy, every journey begins in Troy,"* reminding him: *"If you are looking for your ship, it is in Turkey, at the Troy Museum."*
